Jones 2nd at Red Bull X Fighters Finale
10/04/2010Adam Jones earned second place in the last round of the Red Bull X Fighters World Tour, capping his season with a performance that had fans in suspense until the very last minute. The event was held October 2 at the Stadio Flaminio in Rome, Italy.
Jones battled for his place on the podium watched by a sell-out crowd of 20,000. The event wrapped up a season of great freestyle motocross action from Jones, including a victory at Round 2 in Egypt. With 290 points, he tied another rider for fourth place in the overall standings.
“I was happy to finish second in Rome and end the year on a good note,” said Jones. “It made me realize just how important it is to have confidence and believe in myself and my equipment. It was a clean weekend all the way around.”
