Maxxis Ready for X Games 15
7/20/2009The biggest action sports event of the year will have a strong Maxxis presence, as some of the company’s top sponsored riders compete for X Games gold. Nate Adams, Mike Mason, Adam Jones and Tatum Sik will ride Maxxcross tires in the Games, scheduled for July 30 – August 2 in Los Angeles, California.
Maxxis’ riders are expected to rack up several medals in freestyle motocross. Adams and Jones have won gold, silver and bronze in past years, while Mason has taken bronze. Sik took the bronze in Women’s Moto X in 2008, the first year the event was included in the Games.
The X Games, which can be viewed around the world on ESPN’s family of networks, draw consistently high ratings. Fans who attend the Games in Los Angeles can visit the Maxxis support truck, which will be on hand throughout the event. Tickets, which start at $10, are available at ticketmaster.com.
