Maxxis Riders Take Podiums at WORCS ATV

3/24/2010

Maxxis dominated the podium at WORCS ATV Round 3, with riders on Razrs taking two of the top three spots in both the Pro and Pro-Am classes and winning the Women A class. The race was held March 20-21 in Lake Havasu, Arizona.

Beau Baron of Team Maxxis/MCR grabbed second place, while teammate Josh Row took third. The finish gave Row his second straight spot on the podium as a pro.  Baron and Row also hold second and third place in the series’ overall standings. Pulling double-duty as both racer and team manager, Mike Cafro finished sixth and holds fourth overall.

As always, Baron was pleased with the performance of his Maxxis tires. “The tires worked awesome on the hard blue grove of the MX and even better in the sand down on the beach,” he said.

In Pro-AM, Maxxis/MCR’s David Haagsma took second place, and Javier Robles, Jr. turned in an outstanding performance for third. The weekend’s results pushed Haagsma to a five-point lead overall in the Pro-Am ATV field.

The team’s Julie Russell took a decisive victory in the Women A class, winning by more than three minutes. With 70 points, Russell holds the Women A overall lead.

Maxxis congratulates all these riders on their fine performances and thanks them for choosing the brand of champions.
