Maxxis Sponsors New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers
3/28/2008America’s favorite pastime is getting strong support from Maxxis in 2008 as the company sponsors two Major League Baseball teams.
With Maxxis as an Official Sponsor, the house that Ruth built again features the familiar orange and black logo. As in past years, Maxxis’ signage will be seen behind home plate at every other New York Yankees regular season home game.
The team’s regular season, the last to be played at Yankee Stadium, begins March 31 in a game against the Toronto Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium. A new 51,000-seat stadium, adjacent to the current field, is expected to open in 2009.

Comerica Park will also sport the Maxxis logo as the company sponsors the Detroit Tigers. Maxxis’ signage will be featured behind home plate during several series throughout the season.
The Detroit Tigers, one of the founding members of the American League, have a long and storied history, including four World Series titles and ten AL championship titles. The organization set a new franchise attendance record in 2007.
