Maxxis Wheel Receives ISO 9001:2000 Certification
2/11/2005In recognition of its commitment to continuously improving quality and customer satisfaction, Maxxis Wheel Company, a subsidiary of Maxxis International-USA, has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification.
Certification is highly prized among suppliers to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The ISO 9001:2000 verifies Maxxis Wheel’s standards and procedures in quality assurance, with a particular emphasis on customer satisfaction. Maxxis Wheel’s certification was awarded after a detailed audit by Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. (PJR), an independent certifying body which has conducted thousands of similar examinations of North American companies.
Like other companies which have successfully registered for certification, Maxxis Wheel was required to provide documentation of its quality policy, objectives, and records, as well as procedures and work instructions included in its quality and procedure manuals. The PJR audit included extensive on-site visits by an audit team. Periodic reassessments by PJR are required before recertification takes place at the end of the three-year period during which the certification is valid.
