Maxxis to Sponsor New York Yankees
2/25/2008The house that Ruth built will again feature the Maxxis logo, as Maxxis announces that it will sponsor the New York Yankees in 2008. As in past years, Maxxis’ signage will be seen behind home plate at every other regular season home game.
The team’s regular season, the last to be played at Yankee Stadium, begins March 31 in a game against the Toronto Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium. A new 51,000-seat stadium, adjacent to the current field, is expected to open in 2009.
