Quoc Ly Drifts for Maxxis in 2008
3/11/2008Adding to its already strong bench of drifting talent, Maxxis is sponsoring Quoc Ly in the Formula Drift series this season.
Ly couldn’t be more excited about riding Maxxis: “After hearing about the MA-Z1 Drift tires and seeing them perform, I can’t wait to get my hands on them! The 2008 Maxxis Team is going to be awesome!”
Brandon Bentley, sales representative for Maxxis’ automotive department, says the company is equally enthusiastic about having Ly on board. “Quoc is incredibly talented and was a member of our first professional drift team with Jasper Performance. We are very happy to give him a chance to run on the Maxxis tires he helped design,” Bentley said.
The Formula Drift series begins April 12 in Long Beach, California. Maxxis is proud to sponsor Quoc Ly and wishes him the best in his upcoming contests.
