Maxxis Donates AU$200,000 to Surf Life Saving Australia

Maxxis International has donated AU$200,000 to Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA).

SLSA CEO Brett Williamson was thrilled with the company’s gift: “This generous donation from Maxxis will be invaluable in supporting and training our volunteer surf lifesavers all over Australia. This contribution will ensure our beaches remain protected, so Australians can feel safe at the beach. Tragically, 43 lives have been lost along our coastline this year. We need to reduce these losses, and with help from Maxxis, we are working towards this. ”

Maxxis President Wally Chen believes that the company and SLSA share common goals. “We at Maxxis acknowledge our community responsibility, and we see where the ideals of Maxxis and SLSA merge in their twofold dedication to safety and family values. We are pleased to have established this association and are assured of its ongoing success,” he said.

Maxxis is proud to promote safety on Australia’s roads and beaches via this charitable support program. For more information on SLSA, please visit http://slsa.asn.au.
