Maxxis to Sponsor Dodgers, White Sox in 2009
1/26/2009The brand of champions will add two of baseball’s best to its line-up this year: Maxxis will sponsor the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago White Sox throughout the 2009 season.
Maxxis’ signage will be displayed behind home plate for half an inning during every other home game at both Dodger Stadium and U.S. Cellular Field. The White Sox’ season begins April 6 with a home game against the Kansas City Royals, while the Dodgers home opener is scheduled for April 13 against the San Francisco Giants.
Based on last year’s results, fans can expect an exciting season from both teams. The White Sox were the American League Central Division champions in 2008, while the Dodgers won the National League West Division. Both clubs are past World Series’ champions, with three wins for the White Sox and five for the LA Dodgers.
The Dodgers’ line-up boasts two players from Taiwan, home of Maxxis’ global headquarters. Hong-Chih Kuo, left-handed pitcher, and Chin-lung Hu, short stop, will be on board for 2009.
Maxxis is proud to support the Chicago White Sox and the LA Dodgers, and looks forward to cheering them on to victory throughout the coming season.
