Maxxis Official Tire of Groove Approved Parks
2/15/2007Around the world, Kona’s Groove Approved label lets cyclists know they’re riding at one of the finest bike parks in existence. And now the world’s finest tire, Maxxis, is also the official tire of these exciting venues, located at sites in Europe, North America, and Australia.
Begun in Whistler, Canada six years ago, the Groove Approved program has expanded to include parks in Alberta and British Columbia in Canada; Vermont, West Virginia, Idaho, and Colorado in the United States; Austria, Finland, France, Italy, Scotland, Sweden, and Switzerland in Europe; and Victoria, Australia. Typical of the sites is the Mottolino Bike Park in Livigno, Italy, which offers over 600 kilometers of trails. In addition to serving amateur riders and contests, the parks occasionally host pro events as well.
